HISTORY IS WHAT WE DO NOW

Imagine a future, many years from now, where you're sitting on the couch and reminiscing about the great moments the Danish national football team had at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. That's exactly what we had Danish fans do in this campaign for the new national team jersey.

THE CHALLENGE

How do you launch the new national team jersey once again following two years of record-breaking sales?

THE SOLUTION

We created a campaign that plays with the past and the future. We looked back at the 2022 World Cup and staged it as an epic tournament that we will never forget. A tournament where statues will be erected of the Danish players who were part of it. But first, the story had to be written – or as the campaign stated: "History Is What We Do Now."

More specifically, we took the Danish fans to the future using 3D statues depicting the moments of success we all hoped the national team would achieve in the upcoming World Cup tournament. We imagined how Schmeichel would stand, how Damsgaard would dribble, and how Eriksen would strike, and created statues of a potential future. Accompanying the new jersey design they were a symbol of the fact that tomorrow’s legends are born now.
